The PDW Beast Hoodie is a highly breathable, insulating full zip mid-layer made with Polartec high loft ThermalPro fleece. The distinct appearance of this high loft fleece is reminiscent of the original pile fleece jackets that first hit the alpine and mountaineering circles in the late 1970s and early 80s. Similar to animal fur, the lofted properties of this fleece traps warm air to insulate, especially when worn under a shell.
